Combining 567 on-sensor phase-detect autofocus points with refined tracking algorithms, the Alpha 7R IV boasts extraordinarily sophisticated autofocus abilities, with real-time tracking and eye autofocus enabled for both still and movie recording. All of this is available for full speed 10fps image capture with AF.
Quality and Reliability
The body of the Alpha 7R IV has received a huge raft of tweaks and improvements to ensure reliability and intuitive operation. Dust and weather sealing has been enhanced, with improved gasketing for all buttons and ports. A deeper grip and improved button feel make for a more enjoyable shooting experience and more comfortable operation, and the new 5.76 million dot OLED viewfinder provides a new level of accuracy and detail while shooting.
